    Chicago/Wrigley hotel help

Any suggestions on clean inexpensive hotels near Wrigley or the train.

    Thanks

We stayed (my son and I) at a Days Inn about 8-9 blocks south of Wrigley. I wanna say it was on Clark. Pretty clean and easy walk. For what that's worth

Stay out in Rosemont and take the train into Wrigleyville. Much easier as far as getting back on the road to get back home is concerned, and your hotel will probably be cheaper.

There are at least 1/2 a dozen hotels within like 6 blocks of the blue line stop in Rosemont.

I second the Days Inn Lincoln Park North. It can work out really well if you're looking to do other things in Chicago. It's like a mile from Wrigley (pretty walkable), a mile from Lincoln Park. There are some good places to eat not that far away either.

You also aren't that far from public transportation if you want to go into downtown as well.
