I actually don't mind Dikey V.....sometimes he gets carried away, but I love his passion for the game.

    Re: UT and A&M

I really wish someone who was familiar with the Big 12 would be the analyst for tonight's game, and for all Big 12 games. Someone who could help promote the Big 12 in it's entirety and the players instead about talking about Kansas, Texas, Texas Tech, etc. I don't want to hear about UNC, Duke, Florida, ACC, Pac10 when I'm watching a Big 12 game. I could care less if the analyst had a bowl of linguine with Rick Pitino the other day.

Listening to Vitale during the Texas A&M/Kansas game sounded as if someone handed him a fact sheet instead of doing the research himself. He did very little analyzing during the game too.

I really like it when they don't mike him too.

    Re: UT and A&M

Speaking of Durant, he's single-handedly making this A&M-Texas game fun to watch. The only time I've ever enjoyed watching and anticipating one player's moves so much was Michael Jordan. Kid's incredible!

Whoa...great game so far. I didn't see the first half as we were watching a movie. Came in at halftime.

That Durant is one helluva basketball player.

    Re: UT and A&M

Durant has put his team on his back here in the last few minutes. Unreal.

    Re: UT and A&M

They keep talking about how he needs to get better on defense. And I've watched him make a very nice steal and be very solid on D.

Should be fun to watch Durant and our Wesley play against each other.

Durant is the best player in college basketball... very few are even close.

    Re: UT and A&M

A&M has a bunch of players on the bench in foul trouble and Law just returned after being out for a while with a leg/ankle injury...

    And they're still ahead.

    I'm jealous.

Two Big XII teams playing and he can't say two sentences without mentioning Duke. Was I hearing things or did he refer to the A&M crowd as "Cameron Crazies"?

    Re: UT and A&M

My problem with Vitale is he can't go one game (EVEN WHEN THE GAME IS TEXAS VS TEXAS A&M!!!!) w/o mentioning Duke or Coach K, and that just sucks.

-As a Cyclone, was anything better than the exchange between Johnny Orr and Dick Vitale? with Orr's great quote "yeah, and we kicked your ***..."

I am pretty sure that it will be a lot of things, but I am not so sure that it will be "fun" watching Durant go for 40 and 18 against out team.

It will be fun to watch the kid play, and enjoy it because he will be playing for in the NBA next year. I am sure that Rick Barnes is trying to enjoy the hell out of coaching Durant this season because he may never get to coach a player like this again.
