    It was inevitable.

While on live TV, Ford used a vulgar term to describe a private part of the female anatomy, adding that he was “happily married” and “got more than enough to eat at home.”

Why wouldn't you file against the inspectors? Or did I miss something reading it?

If I were the building people I'd file a suit against the kid that pushed him for breaking the elevator door.

Noticed the phrase that the victim's friend "playfully pushed" him into the elevator doors. Really? Seems to me that the victim's family should be suing their son's friend - but that would mean not as much $$$$.
I seriously wonder how much actual force there was to cause the doors to collapse, and how much force the doors should be expected to absorb.

It was reported in a previous thread about this topic that there were cameras that recorded the incident, and that the authorities were reviewing the recordings.

Has anything been released about what the cameras revealed? Will these recordings come into evidence at a civil trial?

Really? You don't think the doors are designed to not collapse when someone is pushed against them? Are you serious? These things are supposed to have safety features built in.

Surely they are expected to handle more force than would be applied by shoving someone into it. They would obviously be expected to handle more than that. They would be kinda worthless if they couldn't handle that much, since they lead to a wide open elevator shaft.

This wouldn't have happened if we all weren't so lazy as a society and just took the stairs...elevators are for those in wheelchairs.

But seriously people will and do sue for n...e...thing.
