    Re: Rings on Ebay

Hard to say who those rings came from. Looks like the seller has a bunch of random bowl / championship rings.
edit: They both say AD so I think you may be right.

Most have there name and number on them or something. I saw both of these had "AD" on each.

Yeah, the "AD" is in a spot that usually has a player's number, I believe. So it very well could be either the initials of someone affiliated with the team, or even the AD.

Man, I want that Insight ring.

I have seen independence bowl rings for sale twice before, once on ebay and once in town.

No players had those initials. Can't really find any info on coaches or support staff. Just thought it was interesting...

    Re: Rings on Ebay

I looked through his other items, aparently ISU rings are only slightly more valuable than a 1971 Evansville Purple Aces National Championship ring.

Yeah, and the name is blocked out, so we can't know yet I guess.

I would almost make a bid, but don't want to deal with ebay.

    Re: Rings on Ebay

Quote from the ebay post "I offer my Exclusive 200% Money Back Guarantee if this ring I am selling is not a 200% Authentic Ring."

What the heck does that even mean? You'll get twice your money back if the ring isn't twice as real as the real thing?
