Geovany Soto strains his oblique, scratched from lineup - ESPN Chicago

The injury bug bites again... why can't the Cubs just stay healthy?

    Re: Soto strains oblique

I believe that this was the injury that was bothering him when the Cubs broke camp.

    Re: Soto strains oblique

We have played a full TWO games with our opening day lineup. Absolutely ridiculous.

Just when Ramirez finally returns... maybe when Soto comes back he will get hot because he hasn't been hitting like he was last year

Obliques are not too serious typically...he should be back after the All Star Break. So far this season, Koyie Hill is about as good of a replacement.
