    Re: Barnes article in OWH

Its important because I need a school with a lot of connections in economics, to set me up with internships and job opportunities after college, Barnes said.

How about connections in Agricultural Economics - would that also fit his requirements?

I feel pretty confident in our Economics program. I am an Ag Business student and have taken alot of general economics courses. If he were into Agricultural Business though, I think he would be a lock . We have a great Ag Business program with great connections to the industry. If only.....

    Re: Barnes article in OWH

How many of these articles are there going to be? Talk about boilerplate...

    1) Not your "typical" recruit
    2) Cares about future and education
    3) No, really, he does!
    4) "That's Harrison"
    5) Ever hear the one about the time he tried to get in to the weight room?

Love the kid and hope he comes here, but the flood of generic articles leaves something to be desired.

No kidding - it was like he just completed reading the Sports Illustrated article. Nothing new here.

Sounds like he is biting on Duke's sales job pretty hard...at least it will be better than him going to KU.

Barnes is 6'8" with shoes! That means he's 6'7", even w/o. He's also got a 7 foot wingspan.
