I'm not sure if he's the most skilled player in the country, but he's damn close, and he's got the head on his shoulders and work ethic that I believe he could be the best player in the nation.

I figured after a year of college he'd be looked at as top 5ish but not #1. But like you said I think he can be overall #1 if he wants to be.

Thats crazy. I thought Harrison said he was going to stay at school all 4 years. However money talks and bs walks, and I can see Harrison leaving after his 1st year.

That's why I don't think it will be so devastating if HB should choose to enroll somewhere other than Iowa State - he's only going to play college ball for one year. Even though he's incredibly mature and values education very much, it makes no sense whatsoever economically to remain in college after year one.

Nothing he chooses would surprise me. I've never heard a bad word about the kid, and I wouldn't be surprised if he stayed in college more than a year either.

Kind of a hard question to answer ---- Out of high school, he absolutely is. Griffin was RSCI #16 as a senior (in a very solid class); Harrison will be top 3 (in another very solid class). However, it's hard to say that anybody will be as good as Griffin in his sophomore season. He was outright dominant and took over every game he played in. Saying that Barnes will get to that level in college would be wildly optimistic at this point.

He'll go to ISU AND he'll play more than one year.

You can take that to the bank.

Not true. Let's just hope it is not KU or Minn.
