    Cubs Tickets

Question for those who go to a lot of cubs games:

What is the best place to purchase tickets (ebay, stubhub, other ticket broker)?

Where is the best place to sit, good bang for the buck? Keep in mind I will be toting two young children with me to this game.

I'd say stubhub or a bus trip.

Toting kids... Probably not the bleachers then. Probably terrace reserved... you may get a pole... but you are usually out of the sun.

If you're bringing kids, there really won't be a good place to sit, as the seats at Wrigley are very cramped, especially in the upper deck.

The best place to buy tickets largely depends on the game/s you want to go to.

    I was thinking either Thursday July 30th v. Houston @ 1:20 or Friday July 24th-Sunday 26th v. Cincinnati.

Along with my wife and I, we have a 4 year old and 20 month old, so I was going to try to do 3 tickets, but if it's going to be cramped we may need the fourth seat just for some extra room.

You could do three seats... we took my boy when he was 3.... we had 3 seats but ended up using just 2.

He took a nap from the 3-6th innings.

Where does one look for one of these bus trips?

Since we are an elite team now, let's go get that One Cyclone Moment.
Make this one for the ages!

For that Thursday game there are probably tickets available on the teams website, so I would check there first. Just be aware that anything "reserved" means that you might get stuck behind a pillar.

The bleacher box seats in right field are relatively new, and might be a good option if you wanted to sit out there, but you'll be in the sun all day.

Best Available for 3 on the July 30th was Sec 213 Limited View for $36/ea. I wasn't sure how good they would be with the limited view???

We sat in the outfield box seats last time we were there, and liked those. We were on the edge closest to center field so the wall blocked our view to deep center. Next time I sat there I would get seats closer to the 1st base line in right.

Depending on what row you're in, those are pretty good, and you'll be in the shade if its hot, and under the overhang if it rains.

I'm surprised that there are 3 together that close to the field.

I was surprised too. It may be because this is a makeup game from a rain out.

    Limited views can really bite.

But with it being a Thurs afternoon game, you may be able to move rather easily. We usually go to Friday afternoon games, and there a seats all around almost every time.

    Re: Cubs Tickets

Go to the corner of Addison and Sheffield, next to the CTA train entrance. Go to these brokers about 5-10 mins before game time and you'll pretty much get face value. Any section you want to sit in. The only difficult games will be Cards and White Sox usually.
