    Randle on U16

    Some updates on Randle's play for U16:
    2009 FIBA Americas U16 Championship Game: USA 101, Argentina 87 Chasson Randle (6'2 PG, Rock Island HS in IL, Class of 2011): Never shot from the field and missed both of his free throw attempts but grabbed two rebounds in six minutes.

    U16 Nationals: USA 126, Canada 78
    Chasson Randle (6'2 PG, Rock Island HS in IL, Class of 2011): Scored seven points on 3-6 shooting in 16 minutes.

    U16 Nationals: USA 126, Puerto Rico 73 Chasson Randle (6'2 PG, Rock Island HS in IL, Class of 2011): Went 2-3 from deep and got to the line six times in scoring ten points. Also grabbed five rebounds in 17 minutes.

    U16 National Team 2-0 After 102-76 Win Over Venezuela Chasson Randle (6'2 PG, Rock Island HS in IL, Class of 2011): Led the team in field goal percentage at 80% (4-5) and hit his only free throw for nine points. Only one turnover. Scored three straight times for the U.S. team on a dunk, a layup, and an And 1 as an integral part of the 16-4 run that took the score from 58-48 to 74-52 and put the game out of reach.

    U16 National Team Defeats Brazil, 110-82 Chasson Randle (6'2 PG, Rock Island HS in IL, Class of 2011): Scored five points including a three pointer while collecting six rebounds in 19 minutes. Turned it over four times but also forced a turnover with a steal.

    He is a PG so that's not always a bad thing. Plus how many guys are on the team? Usually in these events they have 12 to 15 and they split the minutes equally. A lot different than splitting minutes with 7 to 8 guys like normal

    He was just one of a full roster of top 30 players- stats are going to be misleading. The top guard was Beal, a KU lean from St. Louis. He also took many more shots than almost anyone else.
