    TCF Stadium

Minnesota's new stadium looks to be complete. I found these picture on HR and I could care less about the discussion, but that sure is an impressive building.

After looking at these pictures, I can't wait until the south endzone project is complete.

Pictures are on the top and bottom of the thread.

I wonder if they heat the B-Rooms?

That's a good looking facility. Should definitely help with recruiting. I wonder if Brewster will change their offense to a more run oriented O because of this. Tough to throw it around the field when it's freezing.

Wow, do Hawk fans eat at McDonald's so much that anytime they see something basically red and yellow the instantly think of McDonald's?

    Re: TCF Stadium

Weird fact about TCF - it'll be the only stadium in the Big 10 that runs East-West. The open end is the west end zone.

    Re: TCF Stadium

The weather should only be an issue in November and even then its not that different from here in Ames.

    Average November Temperatures
    Ames - High 45, low 27
    Minneapolis - High 40, low 25

Personally, I like cold weather games.

That's what happens when you stand behind the counter pushing buttons with pictures of shakes on them every day.

I am guessing it was space considerations that forced this? Between that and the probable inclement weather, playing in this stadium could be interesting, regardless of how many fans.

I have no idea, but I know that it had to be shoe-horned in right next to Williams Arena. Either way, it's a tremendous improvement.
