    Barnes.

Nope, not Harrison...Ricky. He's looking pretty good so far in the US Open. Who thinks he can pull it off? Personally I can't help but to root for Duval.

I'd also love to see Duvall come through and win it. I think everyone who has ever picked up a golf club can identify with David to a certain extent, although his case is extreme. To be on top of the world, and then just lose the touch. The difference is, I do that round by round. One day my driving is good and my putting sucks. The next time out, it reverses. I have a ton of respect for him to keep battling.

Pretty crazy that he was once the #1 ranked golfer in the world and now he's around 882 or something.

Didn't he have some weird health issues? Like vertigo or something?

    Re: Barnes.

This is turning into "who wants to lose it less". Both leaders leaving the door open for the field but no one making a run at them.

If the leaders keep falling, Phil is going to be an eagle away from being right in the thick of things.

And as I say that, Phil disappears off the leaderboard at the top of ESPN.com.
