    Brackins

When do they announce the 2009 USA Men's World University Games team?

I know they leave something around June 25th.

    Re: Brackins

The trials are June 16th to 24th. The games are July 2-12. So the teams will be announced, I assume, on the 24th. I could be wrong, but I think the team is now down to only 13 players, maybe 14. Mike Davis of Illinois got hurt, and Sherron Collins just pulled out because of a "family situation."

They added Mike Tisdale from Illinois and Nic Wise to replace them.

Great job, Craig! This experience should be invaluable for him. Do they broadcast these games anywhere?

    Re: Brackins

Here's the update that I just read (and it's not good):

-Craig Brackins struggled from the opening session, playing with some type of flu in the first day and then deciding to sit out the morning practice of the second day. When he was on the floor, he had a very difficult time with the altitude and was constantly clutching his shorts. His body doesn’t look a great deal better than it did last season, and he didn’t do much more than settle for jumpers on the offensive end. Defensively, he had a very difficult time guarding some of the stronger big men he was forced to match up with.

    Re: Brackins

He has the flu. That can really affect your game. Plus the altitude is screwing him over too
