    Game 7 Tonight

Who you rolling with and where are you watching it?

I am rooting for the Pens but I think the Red Wings are getting this. I wish I had HD at home to watch this on! I would go to a bar but I am not sure if there are any hockey-friendly bars in town.

It's nights like this when I wish I was back in Minneapolis as there'd be a lot of people out at all sorts of sports bars!

    Re: Game 7 Tonight

Watching in the comfort of my home!

I would guarantee Johnny's will have it on downtown. It is the single biggest game on tonight so at least 1/3 to 1/2 of their sets will have it on.

Only problem with watching the game at the bar is you usually do not have the commentators on. I love listening to Doc Emerick call games.

HD hockey is really good sports TV. i just wish more of the playoffs were on a local station instead of VS.

I will be rooting the Pens on since I despise the Wings.

I agree - not that big of a hockey fan, but watching it on HD for the first time was stunning.

That's garbage. I don't like it when I can't hear the play by play as it's harder to get into.

I want to Pens to win as I think it would be fitting as Hossa leaves the Pens because he wants to win a cup and then the Pens beat the team he chose to win it. That said the history says that the Redwings will in as the last 6 game 7's have been won by the home team.

If the Wings do win, I just hope it isn't a 5-0 yawner...

Would be almost as sweet as KJ leading our wrestlers to a title after Cael left because it would be too hard to do so here.

Yes, if you're a Penguin player, can there be a bigger "slap in the face" than a teammate leaving you to play for Detroit, for less money than what Penguins offered?

No kidding. At the very least, I'd like to see someone on the Pens really clean his clock; especially if the game gets out of hand.

That would be sweet! 2 championships for Pittsburgh this year!

Unfortunately, it will be 4-2 Deeeetroit. that is my humble prediction.

I've bought a bottle of beer in 2000 when the Dallas Stars were trying to repeat. I was going to celebrate. I have given up on the Stars and now, I'm waiting for Detroit to lose so I can drink it!

    It will be interesting.

    Re: Game 7 Tonight

It's the Red Wings guys. The whole metro area is ready to roll. There will be no rioting but Detroit needs a winner. Nothing better than some hard-working humble guys keeping the cup where it belongs -- in Hockey Town.
Besides, if the Red Wings win, it's likely that the Stanley Cup will visit the elementary school that my grandkids attend because Tomas Holmstrom's son is in my granddaughter's class. It came last year when Nik Lidstrom brought it over. Good times. Go Red Wings!!!!

Pens, they just need to ride out that first 10 minutes as Detroit is going to put a lot of pressure on them.
