    CFN Mizzou '09 Preview

    Scout.com: 2009 CFN Missouri Preview

Hadn't seen this posted yet, plus we could use some more dicussion about the other 11 opponents on our schedule.

This preview seems to be a little more optimistic about Mizzou than some of the others that I've seen. Fuitak makes a good point about all of the sophs and juniors that have been waiting in the wings. A lot of Mizzou fans seem to think that some of these guys should have seen the field more last year.

We don't see them until the end of the year, so it will be interesting to see what type of meaning this game has for both teams. I could realistically see Mizzou having anywhere between 4-7 wins before they play us, just as I could see ISU have around 4-5 wins before this game.

I see Mizzou at 7-5 in the regular season and probably 3rd or 4th in the North.

    Re: CFN Mizzou '09 Preview

I would love to see Mizzou at 7-5 but I don't see it happening. They have recruited to good the last 4 years for them to drop off much. I think they are going to replace most of those starters with very capable players.

They also lost both coordinators. Who knows what kind of coaching they will have then.

Their next in line QB is supposed to be something else. FWIW, he was all world in highschool.

While on live TV, Ford used a vulgar term to describe a private part of the female anatomy, adding that he was “happily married” and “got more than enough to eat at home.”

They promoted from within on offense, so im sure there will be a decent amount of continuity.

I still think Mizzou will be 4th in the north. They wont be horrible, but I expect the turnover to make them mistake prone at times and cost em a few extra games.

I remember ESPN's article back in the fall about the new Daniel for Missouri possibly being better (and having a better shot @ the NFL) than Chase. I'm interested to see what he can do at the helm of Columbia's Kitties.

Also, anyone know if Daniels #1 was able stay on with the Redskins?

I wouldn't talk much smack about Mizzou. They beat us by 32 last year in Ames.

    Re: CFN Mizzou '09 Preview

Didn't Mizzou lose a ton of guys to the NFL? I think it will be tough for them to replace those guys.

I see lots of faults with all the teams in the North as well as good things for teams not named KSU Wildcats.
The North will be a tossup and may be won by the team that can sneak a couple of wins out of the South.
