    Eustachy to USC?!

I say not a chance. I found it odd though that this guy has him as a top candidate. I personally don't know why any coach would take over that program right now. They are about to become last years Indiana

    Re: Eustachy to USC?!

I could see why Larry might want to go there, as he gets no support at Southern Miss. I doubt he gets the job, but I can at least see why he might want to leave. Southern Miss only cares about football and baseball.

    Won't happen...

Eustachy can't recruit and compete with UCLA.

If the situation is as bad as it seems at USC, I doubt they could get anyone better than LE. The guy is a former national coach of the year.

    Re: Eustachy to USC?!

If that happens, WTF? Is USC really going after our leftovers?

Yeah there's no way they'd take a chance on Larry.

If this is true and it doesn't work out, at least they have Wayne Morgan to fall back on.

They like seconds, even if they are a bit sloppy and messy.

They'd both be taking a chance. There is a decent chance that USC is going to have some penalties and they already have zero talent.

    Re: Eustachy to USC?!

I can't think of 10 better jobs in the country. There's UNC, Duke, Kansas, UCLA, and Kentucky, and then Texas, USC, and Florida are all right in the Indiana/UCONN/Michigan State range.

It's a great sports city, you have a brand new, beautiful arena, and there's no pressure as long as the football team is good and you can put a team in the tournament and/or beat UCLA every two or three years.

Now, you're probably going to be faced with some sanctions from the day you step foot on campus, but if you can get through that okay, I seriously think it would be one of my top 10 jobs if I were a coach.

Wayne Morgan could get back into coaching and he has experience in the LA metro area.

You might as well say that Colorado is a great basketball job because Boulder is awesome.

    Duke
    UNC
    Florida
    Kansas
    Texas
    Syracuse
    UCLA
    Kentucky
    Indiana
    Arizona
    Memphis
    Michigan St
    Villanova
    Pitt

would all be better jobs IMO

Greg Macdermott to USC in 2019. You heard it here first.

Wasn't the guy responsible for the "scheduling scandal" from Long Beach? He'd have much easier access to him.

There are certainly recruiting advantages to being in LA but no one goes to their games. They only averaged like 5-6000 this year. Is that really a top 10 job? UF and UT might be football schools first but they get a lot more support than USC does.

Also, LA is not a "great sports city." There's too much other stuff to do so people show up late and leave early or just don't show at all.
