The #6 Cyclones are preparing this week for yet another roadtrip. This time it's down to Missouri to play St. Louis University in the last regular season road game. The Billikens have been in the basement of the CSCHL all year long, with only 3 wins total all season.

That is a deceiving stat, however. All 3 of those wins come against ranked opponents, on the road. Most recently, SLU upset the #9 team in the nation, Kent State in one of the most hostile arenas around. So don't think this is going to be a cake walk.

The Cyclones are in dire need of these 2 wins as they currently sit 5th overall in the CSCHL with a 7-6-1 record. With just one more conference series after this weekend, a road sweep would be just the momentum the Cyclones will need heading into tournament time.

It's the most crucial part of the season and the Cyclones are firing on all cylanders. Goaltender Trent Baker has been standing on his head, single handedly keeping his team in games with acrobatic saves and an ice cold demeanor. Peter Majkozak and Jayson Peterson are neck and neck in goals with 25 and 24 respectively. And with Allen Raushel back from Italy, the team has its most gifted player back on the ice.

This is shaping up to be a great conference series between two teams clawing their way up the standings. So it will definitely be full of excitement and intensity. To listen to the free webcasts of these games, check out www.cyclonehockey.com.
