Man those new Challengers and Camaros are sweet!

GM and Chrysler really got those two right atleast. Also even Ford did right by the Mustangs. All three really capture the original Muscle Car look.

They look pretty sweet but they are too retro which includes bad gas mileage and bad handling. On top of this they are total pigs(weigh too much). In the latest car and driver they actually picked the Mustang over the other 2 even though the Camaro had 120 more horsepower. BTW they each got about 15mpg.

The Challenger weighs 4200lbs which is embarrassing. This would be like Ducati making a crotch rocket that weighed as much as a Harley.

They are good looking though. I saw my first Camaro on the street a few days ago and it looked pretty bad *** in black.

The Mustang I drove handled very well. If you are buying these cars you are not biying them for fuel economy. Get ready for the new Chevete and Citation to make a return to Chevy line up. Then in 5 years they will be back with a new Imapla and Monte Carlo, and in 10 with a new Tahoe. Interesting how this cycles.

The sharpest looking Camaros are the silver with black stripes

and by far the sharpest looking Challenger is the orangish light red with black stripes.

I agree but it is a little bit embarrassing that they get 15mpg with all of the technology available. I had a Camaro with a 427 that was pushing 500 horsepower and it would get 14mpg. That's with a 4 speed and a carb. I think even the corvette gets 20mpg and will get 30 on the highway if you take it easy.

GM cars are now the best made and designed in the world

You wouldn't buy a Camaro, Silverado, Malibu, Cadillac? Did you know that Buick has won the best quality award like 3 straight yrs? You sound like a typical toyota yuppie snob.

You know, there are other things to consider when buying a vehicle, such as resale value, durability, will the company even exist 5 years down the road, will it be owned by a labor union, will it be owned by a government, etc...

(and this is coming from someone that currently owns a Pontiac and a Ford)

Would have liked the Challenger to incorporate the 1971 Barracuda "cheesegrater" grill...
