    NFL RBs

would you rather have a 225 pound running back that runs a 4.55 40 and has a regular name, doesn't have dreads and typically comes from a Big 10 school. He can't catch, but is automatic for five yards on each play because he is always pushing forward and takes two or three guys to tackle him, and has a 50+ yard run maybe every five games.

    OR

would you have a 175 pound running back that runs a 4.25 40 and has a more exotic name and has dreads and typically comes from an SEC school. He can catch, and seems to be either gaining 50 or losing 5 yards on each play and dances around a lot and once you get ahold of him, he goes down.

Is this your version of a Shonn Greene vs. Percy Harvin thread?

    Worked for Barry Sanders.

And id take the faster scat back. Since Rbs have a shelf life of less than 5 years it seems, a ground n pound type RB will only be good for a year or three.

    Re: NFL RBs

What does having dreads have to do with anything?

Don't ask logical questions with this guy.

The answer: It depends on my offensive scheme. If I need a power back, I'll take the power back. If not, maybe the other guy's better for me.

I would rather my RB have an afro. If there isn't one in play I'm out of this hypothetical.

    ok dreads and or cornrows.

Anyways, the point of this is: would you rather have a blue collar running back that works hard and is a team player, or would you rather have a white collar running back that has three kids when he's 21 (like noel devine) and isn't a team player.
