    In state recruiting

Here's an interseting tidbit about our neighbors to the west. As it stands right now, NU has commits from 2 boys from NE. Not sure that I have a point to make here other than it reconfirms that smaller population states like IA and NE can fill the rosters with homegrown talent. We get a few quality Iowa kids and then go elsewhere to fill needs. I guess I was just surprised that they didn't have at least 6-7 verbals. Omaha and Lincoln put out that many every year.

    Re: In state recruiting

Niles paul is only parade all american from Nebraska. Jordan Bernstine is all around athlete and only parade all american from Iowa.

Next year, Nebraska has a big bunch of Div 1 recruits (10-15) so we may see more vailable from Nebraska.

Robert Arneheim all state Florida qb will visit Ames this weekend. trey Vaysinger 6-6 285 from Dall visited last week. Justin Johnson 6-2 210 4.5 safety from Richardson Texas will visit this weekend also. Maybe this is the fellow that replaced Tanner. All from free section of scout.

Maybe Justin heard how cold it was going to be. He may still visit. Even if you verbal, go ahead and take your visits. Nothing is rock solid till you sign.
