    Hobbs

The pass interference called on ellis was the wrong call. The nFL admitted it's mistake. They just dont expect him to be that good

    Re: Hobbs

Yeah, too bad--Hobbs still had a great game.

Mentioned this in another thread: http://www.cyclonefanatic.com/forum/...obbs#post77782

    Re: Hobbs

If they had an All-Century team for football, I'd put Hobbs on it.

    Re: Hobbs

I was right, face guarding is not against the rules

Referee Bill Carollo made no reference to face-guarding in his explanation, but CBS analyst Phil Simms did. Apparently, he, too, doesn’t know the rule no longer exists. The next time you hear a TV analyst say, ‘he wasn’t playing the ball,’ think of the Hobbs play, then turn down the sound.”

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."

    Re: Hobbs

They should dunk that ref in the big bug tank a few times. How can a ref screw up when that is all he is out there to review and call penalties on? Ref expertise has been sinking in NFL. Are they getting too old and having altheimers?

I definitely agree. Anymore it seems if you get it inside you'll draw the foul whether there was a foul or not.
