There isn't much more Lebron can do, his supporting cast is just ******** the bed.

it cant always be the lebron show, just like jordan in the seasons the pistons owned him, he had to have the scottie pippens and the dennis rodmans to help him out

But if he's the best player ever he should be able to beat everyone regardless of who else is on his team

Re: Are King James and The Cavs Done?

I agree with a post I read on the CBS Sports site. The Cavs have exactly one chance at winning this series - and that's getting Howard to do something incredibly stupid to get him called for his 7th technical foul in either game 5 or game 6 (assuming the Cavs survive game 5). He would then miss the rest of that game plus be suspended for the next game due to accumulated Ts. And considering how badly this series has already been officiated, it wouldn't surprise me if David Stern (who, if you can't tell by the amount of pimping that's already been done, WANTS the LeBron v. Kobe show) somehow mandates that the refs make sure they get that T called. And if you need someone elses' opinion that this series has been poorly officiated, just watch ESPN or TNT commentary - even the folks that go gaga over LeBron even realize just how unobjective the officiating has been in this series.

Re: Are King James and The Cavs Done?

The ironic thing is, in another thread, people are actually calling the notion that "if LeBron James had not sunk his game-winning shot that the Magic would have on the series 4-0" the "dumbest thing they have ever read." And the excuse - "because of all the game-winners that the Magic have won their games with."

    WHAT?!?!?

Excuse me - if LeBron doesn't win the game for the Cavs, the Magic are up 2-0 in the series going to Orlando. Orlando won both games at home - they would have won the series 4-0. I don't see how this is such a difficult concept to grasp...

King James was TO machine last night.

Re: Are King James and The Cavs Done?

I was just going to say that no, the Cavs are not done if the NBA and the officials have anything to say about it.

I have seen the Lakers get favorable calls over the years, as did the Bulls. I don't think it has ever been quite as obvious as it has been in this series though.

I like James a lot, and think he is genuine. But this is a little over the top. Let the players decide the game on the court.

I'm planning on betting a lot on cybookie that the cavs win game 5. The NBA knows what they're doing...
