    Dykstra?

I was told by a coworker that Jordan Dystra, 2010 recruit, and the coaching staff, have agreed to mutually part ways. Anyone else hear this?

    Re: Dykstra?

Wouldn't surprise me and I would be happy about this. Nothing against Dykstra but I don't see him as a Big XII type of player.

He seemed like a solid pick up.

    Re: Dykstra?

he probably doesn't see a lot of playing time coming his way with everyone "staying"

Maybe. If that's the case the "play now" mentality is getting old.

If it is more not seeing playing time for his career here then I understand. But not wanting to wait and put the effort in to be good by your So or JR year would be of concern.

    Re: Dykstra?

We are going to have to seriously recruit some bigs in the future if this is true. I thought that before this as well. We lose Brackins and JVB after next year, and it usually takes a few years for post players to develop. We have some young defenders, but I don't see where our post offense is going to come from in the future.

Let's not throw the kid under the bus. I have not seen an official report to back up this thread.

My post is not about him specifically about him. Incoming players in general.

    Re: Dykstra?

well if it is true im glad it happend before he got here than after his freshman season. I was glad to see when he had committed here but alittle worried about reports over time that he was soft. thought he would be a good contributor though
