    Office annoyances

If I hear one more person clipping their nails I'm going to puke. This is right after I left the bathroom where I could hear blackberry keys being pressed while someone was on the stool. People are sick.

    Re: Office annoyances

This one is easy for me....people that take their shoes off at their desks. This is an office people, not your living room! At my office there is this one girl in particular that does this and even walks around without her shoes on. I told her last week, that is she keeps treating the office like her bedroom, I'm going to treat her desk like my bathroom. Since then she's kept her shoes on.

The person in the meeting with the sniffles that refuses to blow his nose is terrible. Or the guy that leaves the urinal and heads straight out the door. Two classy acts in my book.

    Re: Office annoyances

I was in the bathroom at my office a few months ago and someone was actually on the phone while in one of the stalls. I was amazed...and annoyed. So I took action. I felt a healthy amount of pressure build up, which normally I'd let out nice and quiet so as not to make anyone else uncomfortable, but not this time. I pushed and clenched and let loose a loud one. The guy talking on the phone paused, then said "What? No, that was someone else."

I left the bathroom with a big smile on my face...after washing my hands of course.

Loud nose whistle breathing lady. Love her.
Girl that sits at her desks and talks to herself ******** and swearing about this and that all day long with complete disregard for others on the phone or people visiting the office. She is also calls-in-late-everyday lady and always-sick-when-boss-is-gone gal.

    Re: Office annoyances

Our office is pretty small and most of us wear headphones so I'm lucky. My old office had the barefoot walker lady, the most disgusting sounds I've ever heard in the bathroom-guy, the talks loud on the phone guy, ect.

I was at a huge sales conference for doctors a few weeks ago in Boston. I encountered people (doctors!) talking on their phones in the ladies' room at the convention hall at least twice. Thank goodness there was hand sanitizer all over the place.

I have a coworker who sighs. Loudly. Every 5 minutes. I get it, you're stressed, blah blah blah. I've done your job, and it's not that bad. Man up.

Oh yeah...forgot about this guy. HATE HIM!

It's the reason I got a privacy screen on my monitor. Unless you're directly behind me, you can't see anything on my screen.

I also have a coworker (about whom I told some stories last Friday in the "still at work" thread) who regularly takes two sandwiches into the bathroom, and comes out 20 minutes later with no sandwiches. THAT is gross.

Yeah, because touching the urinal handle and then the sink handle are two clean acts. You wash your hands and then shut off the sink using the dirty sink handle. It's cleaner to just head straight back to your desk and some Prell. And don't tell me to use a paper towel to shut off the sink. What a waste.
