    The Power Ball

How much would you give the Iowa State Athletics department if you won the $222 Million on Wednesday?

    Re: The Power Ball

After taxes I'd have roughly 140 mil, and then I'd probably give 20 mil since it's a write-off come tax time. I would ask that Hilton gets renovated.

I would also renovate the Roundhouse at Marshalltown High School.

Depends on who they are willing to fire for it.

How much do we need right now for the endzone to be built?

Enough that when breaking news hits about the cyclones, or when a coaching change is going to be made, JP calls me and asks what I think before he makes a decision.

Whatever it took to get another big donor to step up for the endzone project, and I'll betcha Barnes would be wearing cardinal and gold.

If you take the lump sum ("cash") payout, that amount is $113 million. Knock off 1/3 of that for taxes, and your "$222 million jackpot" is really worth about $75 million.

I'd built Harrison's mama a new house if he commited to ISU.

    Re: The Power Ball

Depends - how much would it cost in order to bring both baseball and mens' swimming back - as well as start up mens' and womens' hockey at Iowa State (pipe in the "well, there are no current Big XII teams playing hockey" - guess what? THERE ARE NO traditional conferences in NCAA hockey)?

After that, then we'll talk about the building of the south endzone and Hilton renovation...

The extra revenue from the South Endzone ticket sales would pay for baseball and men's swimming...

None, they still would not give me better seats even if I donated it all to them.

Precisely - that's why I'm saying, "let's talk about these other sports first"...

Pretty sure that if you drop a couple mill on the Athletic Dept. that they would give you any set of seats you want till death.....heck, they would give you your own box for FB....and Courtside seats at Hilton every year.
