That's funny. Probably most of the student body at Luther has never met a black man.

    Re: gangsters and preps

    Three questions...

Would they have been safer with a "pimps and hoes" party?

Did anyone take offence to the stereotyping the "preps" at the party?

How many people attend Luther College? I still can't believe it made it to print.

Poor choice on the part of the girls, but why does the College jump to the conclusion that it is a stereotype of young black men? I have seen more than a fair share of young white men adopt the "gansta" lifestyle.

LOL, made me think of the CEO's and Office Ho's parties that turn up at ISU every once in a while.

Ohhhh Luther. Still not sure why anyone would want to spend all that time in Decorah.

What isn't a stereotype these days? People take themselves way too seriously.

I understand the sentiment but honestly it's not that big of a deal to me.

I haven't seen outrage over the stereotyping of sexy catholic schoolgirls at halloween either.

It's sicking to see these white kids, who most of them come from suburbian lifestyles, and try to imitate the stereotypical black gangster. Most of these kids would be ******* their pants of they stepped foot in south central or some gang ridden area.

While on live TV, Ford used a vulgar term to describe a private part of the female anatomy, adding that he was “happily married” and “got more than enough to eat at home.”

    Re: gangsters and preps

So do women get offended when guys dress in drag? Is that stereotyping women? We had a nerd day in High School. I didn't hear anyone complain about that.

This is simple enough to solve...if you don't want to the be stereotyped as a 'gangster' don't dress like one.
