    anyone have a pork rib recipe?

    Got some country style rips from the store yesterday and was thinking about cook them in the oven instead of the crock pot. Does anyonw have a simple recipe for this?

    I've never cooked ribs in the oven. But if I might suggest making a rub. Adding equal parts brown sugar and paprika as your starting base. Then add garlic powder, salt and season salt, pepper, sage, time and a little rosemary.

    Rub that on the ribs and put them in a pan and let them cook for about an hour. Pull them out and spray with warm apple juice on both sides liberally. Flip ribs, foil over pan and back in the oven for another hour. Do this for a total of about 4 hours and you should be good.

    Now I do this for back ribs and spare ribs usually on my smoker. Never used country ribs. So thickness might affect cooking time and you might want to lengthen it.

    I've also heard people say they just add the apple juice to the pan. Myself, this ends up being more like a potroast with the meat fallen off the bone, not falling. So, that's why I spray.

    if you just rub them with famous daves rib rub then put fresh minced garlic let them marinate overnight in tin foil, cook them on the grill in tin foil for about idk 15 minutes or so then take off the tin foil and start basting them with a bunch of barbeque sauce there so good and its easy

    Rub the ribs with your favorite rub and wrap tight and put back in the fridge overnight. Start a small amount of coals for a low temp heat. Put the ribs on indirect heat with smoke for about 2 hours. Then wrap ribs in plastic wrap real tight and wrap again in foil with a tight seal. Leave on grill for an hour. Take out of foil and plastic wrap and put back on grill and mop your favorite sauce on them and grill for another hour. Should be nice and tender at this point.
