Nothing we don't know already, for the most part, but a good read, nonetheless.

    Good find.

Re: Big XII Spring Football Wraps

I thought that was a really good breakdown of other teams in the conference. It's a great read to keep tabs on the progression of other teams in the conference.

Here's a thought. I think the North in 2009 may resemble the North of 2004 a bit. I think the talent level of the "top" teams is going to drop significantly. The gap between haves and have nots will close this season IMO. (what does that say about the disparity between the North and South)

Mizzou is coming off a colossal two year run and loses the offensive stallwarts that made it possible. Their defense also takes some hits. We are a trap game for Mizzou, between a road test at K-State and their border battle with KU. I'm not predicting a win but don't color me shocked if we surprise.

KU- yes they return the all-world and "Economist reading" Reesing, but they do lose the interior line that has been consistent for their two year miracle run. The interior is much easier to replace than the tackles but I expect a drop off, less production from Jake Sharp, and a few more sacks on the little jitterbug. Oh, and the defense loses 3, 3-year starters at Linebacker. We had moments of absolutely shredding that D last year too. Hmm......OU at home, @TTU, and @Texas. That may sting a little.

Nebbie- Lose Ganz, Lucky, and top two recievers on O. I don't care what superstar they have waiting in the wings. There will be an adjustment period and plenty of trial and error along the way. We get them after a daunting stretch @VT, @Mizzou, and against Tx Tech. I don't see much chance of a win at Lincoln but we get them in a nice spot for the season.

K-State is a train wreck and in a similar position to Iowa State. They can't get much worse so I expect a little improvement from both teams. You know the Snydski will reinstate some **** and vineager in these purple wearing clowns. Don't be surprised to see us or the Mildcats knock off one of the above-mentioned teams.

Colorado is stuck in the middle-tier, above KSU and ISU, but clearly below the above 3. I think we'll see improvement from CU with an offense that returns 9 starters. Although Hawkins is an inadequate Big 12 QB at best. (The size of Reesing without the decision making ability and a jelly arm) Sweet tats though

Could be a very interesting year in the Big 12 North.

Does Meier come back for KU next year? Let's put Frere out on him and just tackle that guy to the ground every play. He probably ticks me off more than any other player in the conference because he just always gets open.

Anyone else think its kinda funny that Oklahoma St. is the only South school that won't play a consistant game in Dallas for the forseeable future?
