    Hotels for KC game.

Where is everyone staying? I am trying to figure out where to stay and the Sheraton and Holiday inn right next to the stadium are full. Anyone have a suggestion?

I'd take whatever Hotwire will give you. Last time I checked, it looked like we were going to be staying in Olathe. I should probably get on applying for a credit card come to think of it...

    Re: Hotels for KC game.

if you are looking to have some fun while in KC I would recommend any of the hotels in the plaza or downtown. Downtown in walking distance to Power and Light District. Plaza hotels 5 minutes away.

The hotels next to the Stadium are as well good, just nothing going on around them.

    Suggestions
    The President
    Marriott Downtown
    Intercontenital
    Embassy suites plaza

We got a few rooms at the holiday inn express on 70 in independence a few days ago. They only had a few left though.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say those properties are all booked. unless they sold some rooms to Travelocity at $250/night.

    ISU/KSU
    Chiefs game
    Neckcar race

I don't think you can be too picky at this point.

We booked the President back in October

If you stay Hotel Phillips, don't drink the water. It's a truly old hotel.

I've got 2 rooms for me and some pals at the Embassy Suites on the Plaza. For both Friday the 2nd and Sat. the 3rd. I'm stoked!

Just spent last weekend at the Power and Light district

Stayed at the President. It blows the Plaza away as far as night life. The President, Marriott, Phillips all easy walking distance.

What kind of nightlight is there? I've been to the Plaza many times, and when I've stayed downtown, didn't see that much to do. Maybe it has changed.
