Help a Waukee Girl win Doodle for Google

The Doodle for Google competition is going on again. This year I noticed a girl from Waukee by the name of Bridget Johnston has won the regional grade 7-9 competition and is now competing for the National Finalist.

For making it to the National finals they receive a trip to New York, a laptop and a t shirt but the winner out of the National finalist receive a $15,000 college scholarship and the winner school also gets a $25,000 technology grant towards a computer lab.

It would be pretty sweet if we could get her to at least the Finalist. I know us cyclone fans are amazing at online voting so I figured I would bring it up here.

    Doodle 4 Google

She is Grade 7-9 and Region 6.

I'll tally up another vote. Anybody have any idea if there is a way to vote multiple times? Or can we vote once a day or something? If there is anything that we as Fanatics do to make a difference in the world, it is winning internet votes!

I find it hard to believe that some 5 year olds actually drew those in their age group. They were good.

Re: Help a Waukee Girl win Doodle for Google

this is really cool. although you'd think that google could give the winner a little more time then 24hrs on the site.

" The National Winner's doodle will 'go live' on the Google homepage for 24 hours."

like people won't know it's google when they type in google.com?

Hi there!! I just wanted to say thank you SO much for supporting me! Wow, I didn't even know this thread existed until now! I was really just FLOORED when I saw this, haha! It really means a lot that people I have never spoken to or knew would help me out and vote! I know this is terribly late, but I just wanted to let you know how grateful I am that you all voted for me! I'm honestly really flattered! :)
And even though I didn't win Nationally, the experience was still AMAZING!!!!
I'm not sure if this will reach you or not, but I just wanted to express my gratitude.
Ironically enough, I'm actually looking at Iowa State as a college!
    God Bless :)
    ~Bridget J.
