Don't know if this was posted but I hope that this is incorrect info about a 2010 recruit

    Re: Really Small Recruit

I agree. 5 ft. 4 in. is a little too small for any position. Maybe the coaches know about some growth spurt no one else does, but potentially giving up a ft to a wideout?

Curtis Williams - College Football Recruiting 2010 - ESPN

espn lists him at 5'6" 140 lbs.

not much, but somewhat bigger than his rivals profile. maybe he is currently in the middle of a growth spurt

He better be lightning fast at either of those two heights. Send him some J.J. Moses game tape.

    Re: Really Small Recruit

4.7 fourty time and 31" vertical, and he's 5'4"? I'd be shocked if he was really being recruited by Div 1 teams. If he is, then there is definitely something more to the story.

I was about to say, JJ Moses was 5'6" and actually played in the NFL a couple years.

    Re: Really Small Recruit

Wisconsin had a DB that was 8 inches tall on my NCAA football dynasty a few years back. Probably a glitch. You could barely see him on screen. I'd be running in the open field and would suddenly fall over after being tackled by the 8 incher.

I laughed pretty hard when I read this....just trying to picture it!

I think to, that Ellis Hobbs wasn't much more than 5'7". I'd agree though, if Williams is that short, he'd better be quicker than 4.7 or 4.8.

Did mini Ditka play for Wisconsin and I not know about it?

Are we sure he isn't a Nebraska basketball recruit?

It sounds like he's very quick and dogs receivers well on their routes. It's his top-end speed that is lacking, hence the slow 40 times.

If we offer him, I won't doubt his ability. He'll have to earn playing time like anyone else, and if he's good enough to play then who can argue?
