Somehow, ISU has to get better on the inside...

I do agree they should get tougher on the inside, but they were going up against one of the best Post players in the country tonight...

Any chance we can sneak Angie Wellie(SP?) back in for another year?

It's tough when you're going against a giant rotund in the middle who weighs more than the entire ISU team combined.

Re: ISU falls to OU 69 to 49

Listening to the audio gave the impression that there was a good plan which didn't work because of shooting percentage inside and out. How much of that was us and how much was the defense, I can't say. At the early part of the game we successfully worked the ball into Pierson who was unable to convert. Had those shots gone in, . . . it might have turned out differently. But, though we were hoping, no one was realistically expecting a win in this game. The next game, home against K-State, is a different matter. The K-State game is close to a must-win if we're to finish at .500 in conference play - a likely threshold for an invite to the dance. This can happen, but, we don't have the raw talent to play poorly and win.

“We’ve got a pretty good football conference, and we’ve got a pretty good conference overall. We’re still walking around with our heads held high and our chest out, about that.” Paul Rhoads
