    Fred Hoiberg: Any changes?

I see the Minnesota Timberwolves fired their head coach. Fred is still in the front office, right?

Anyone hear of any changes coming for Fred?

    Re: Fred Hoiberg: Any changes?

"I'm not bitter," Casey told me less than 10 minutes after general manager Jim Stack and assistant general manager Fred Hoiberg delivered the news of his firing in person at the team hotel in Portland.
From ESPN. Fred is now in the firing business. Jokes. But no, there are no changes in the mix for Freddy. Randy Wittman is the new coach. He was brought in as an assistant this summer at the owner's request, and made Casey fire his lead assistant. Almost seems like this was planned in advance to have Wittman ready to go if the Wolves were not living up to the management's expectations.
