    Wisconsin Dells

My wife and I are heading to Dells today for the rest of the week. Any recommendations on can't miss attractions, food or bars? (We are in late 40s - no kids.) Anything from hiking to live music. Thanks, I'll hang up and listen.

    Ride the Duck Boat.
All I remember from my trip 15 years ago was riding the duck boat and mini golf courses as far as the eye could see.

Do the scenic tours, Tommy Bartlett shows. Stay away from the upside down white house and other traps like that.

Places I like eating at are Marley's, Moosejaw Pizza (never had pizza there though), Pizza Villa, and Mr. Pancake for breakfast.

Where are you staying? Are you hoping to enjoy a water park or outdoor park? Mt. Olympus is pretty sweet.

We stopped at the Moosejaw on the way through to Milwaukee last weekend. Very good food pub food. Best burger I've had in a while.

I've heard the new indoor recreation area at the Kalahari is awesome.

Only one recommendation, don't go to the go-cart track after drinking all day. The police there don't like that.

Chula Vista - big golf resort north of Dells.

    Re: Wisconsin Dells

I'll bet many attractions are not fully operational. It is still early, but outdoor water parks may be open on the weekends. Tommy Bartlett? The water has got to be about 40 degrees. I don't know for sure, I'm just saying not to expect "summer" events.

Chula Vista is a very nice place but the golf course is avg. Wild Rock is by far my favorite course up there. A little spendy but you may be able to get some deals before the season opens. It is well worth it. Also just north of the Dells is Northern Bay Golf Course which is another great course

Moosejaw has the COOLEST delivery vehicle on the planet if they still have the PT Cruiser with the moose on top.

Another thing: Don't pull my dad and total a car while you're on vacation. Hurts like a ***** to burn your head on the door trim inside the car.

    The Dells Ducks are awesome!

Noah's Arc is a HUGE waterpark that's always packed to the hill. One attraction is all go-kart tracks (it's freaking awesome). Mini-golf as far as the eye can see.

Yep, they still have it. Took the kids to the Dells last month, they got a kick out of the delivery car when we saw it.

That thing made my entire vacation there a couple summers back worthwhile. Now if only I drove that...
