    X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Anybody else see the movie yet? I thought it was OK. I enjoyed the other 3 X-Men movies better though. Some decent fight scenes. Gambit was pretty cool. I would have liked if he could have a larger role.

    Re: X-Men Origins: Wolverine

i liked it, not as good as xmen 1 and 2, but better then 3. when he's at the farm house looking at his claws in the mirror...was it me or did the cgi on his claws look awful?

    Re: X-Men Origins: Wolverine

I watched leaked version online where the fight scene on the nuclear reactor was completely cartoonish. It was cool to see Tim Riggins as Gambit and I lived Liev Schreiber as sabre tooth too. The whole beginning with them living through all of those wars was kind of stupid though.

Count me in. A movie series that's made over 1 billion dollars and the CGI in that scene is that crappy?

    Movie was good though.

    Re: X-Men Origins: Wolverine

They nailed Deadpool at the beginning of the movie, I absolutely loved it. Of course...that didn't last long...

Why couldn't they have used some no-name mutant as Weapon XI? Why not Maverick? I mean...are they really going to have a Deadpool spin-off where he has optic blasts and swords in his arms??

I got the Deadpool ending (2 endings, WTF?), it was kind of cool that they had him break the 4th wall.

Looking past their total ***-raping of Deadpool's character, the last fight was pretty cool. But how badass would it have been if those doors opened and the real DP was standing there with swords drawn in his actual costume?

They had Wolverine and Sabertooth dramatically charge towards each other about 3 too many times.

Sabertooth on all fours looked really bad, could have done without that.

Gambit was good, not sure what he was doing with his staff though...

"An adamantium bullet won't kill him, but it will erase his memories." LOL!!

His claws looked REALLY fake in the bathroom scene.

Aside from ruining Deadpool, I really liked the movie. I'm not sure why it's getting such crappy reviews.

    Re: X-Men Origins: Wolverine

I havent seen this movie but from what i gathered they pretty much just wanted a Wolverine/Weapon X movie but threw Xmen in the title to give it some very unnecessary steam. Did they even use the same producer, writers or directors as any of the original X-Men movies? From these few comments, it doesnt seem so.
Gambit was always very popular, would be nice to see him have a larger character in a movie.

Professor x looked really fake in the end. Why did they make him cgi and not just have patrick Stewart in it?

I liked it. The Transformers 2 preview looked great. I saw the newest GI JOE trailer and cant believe how terrible the CGI looks in that compared to TF2.

I couldn't tell if it was a really bad make-up job (to make him look young) or CGI. Either way, it looked pretty bad.

This was after the credits? I had Wolverine sitting in a bar saying he was drinking and trying to remember his past. Nothing special or revealing about it.

gah, there were after credits scenes? Knew I should have tried to stay, but that what you get when you see movies in large groups I guess. Also, I don't think I had a transformers or GIJoe preview at my showing
