    Hydroxycut Users

I know we have some people on here that use Hydroxycut and I did for quite a while. Figured this article could be of some use.

Surely this isn't a shock to anyone? Do supplements and things like this have any regulation really?

I have used Hydroxycut. I guess you take a risk with any pill that you take regardless of what you take the pill for. I guess I will try a different brand sometime when they find out what is causing the problem with Hydroxycut.

Honestly, my opinion is that if you need to take stuff like this to lose weight, prepare to take it your whole life, because otherwise the weight is going to come right back when you stop.

Why not just diet and exercise?

    Because Americans are basically lazy.

Remote control society, credit card society, instant gratification, etc.

Diet and exercise require effort and energy.

How many pills do you think have to be left in the bottle to get a recall refund?

While I dont disagree with you here, you are painting with a pretty broad brush.

When I started taking them, I was both dieting and exercising. When I quit using it, I wasnt using it as a weight loss supplement, but rather a brain booster before tests or when I was runnin on fumes. It increases natural noepinepherine production if I recall correctly. Not exactly sure what that has to do with losing weight, but it sure does help when you are trying to study and cant seem to focus or keep your eyes open.

    Re: Hydroxycut Users

I've done the supplements and not done the supplements. And long-term, not using supplements works better for me.

What I DO however, is eat like 3-5 servings of fresh, or lightly cooked/pickled veggies a meal. That's right per MEAL.

And I'm also an unabashed meat-eater, especially organ meats, like liver. It helps that I exercise a lot. (usually 90 minutes of full out a day, plus just doing my job is a ton of exercise.)

I'm cut up pretty good, have tons of energy, and my vitals are phenomenal for a living human being (39 RHR 108/60 BP)

It's fairly easy to get out of whack with my diet, but even easier to adjust. And it's a lot cheaper than supplements.

    Re: Hydroxycut Users

The number of reported incidents compared to the number of bottle sold/users is ridiculously low. Something like .0001%. The percent of people in the normal population that have liver issues is probably much higher than this. Point being that there may or may not be a correlation.

That said, I've never used the product and don't plan to.

Is there a refund out there?

As far as Americans being generally lazy - look at the millions if not billions generated from pills sales to help one loose weight. That is just one segment in which people pay money in hopes that a pill will do what they are too lazy to do for themselves - eat less, eat right, exercise. Broad brush? Sure. But it is hard to argue that we live in a lazy society today.

Which is why I said I don't disagree with what you said. I was just pointing out that some people aren't just sitting around eating twinkies and taking diet pills

as for the refund, from hydroxycutinformation.com

What if I want to return my Hydroxycut product. How do I do that?

For product refunds, consumers are directed to return their product directly to the place of purchase
