Probably grill out. I usually do some hash browns with cheese in foil and onions, with some top sirloins, ribeyes, some thing like that.

I can do spaghetti and meatballs pretty easily

throw a salad in there and some bread and you got a decent meal.

    Re: with your cooking knowledge

Just off the top of my head?

    Baked Ziti w/ Italian Sausage.

    1 box of ziti
1 small canister of ricotta cheese
    1 jar of pasta sauce
1 package of shredded mozzarella cheese
2 lbs of ground sweet Italian sausage

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Boil the ziti according to box directions and cook Italian sausage . Drain both. Add oil to the ziti prevent sticking. Spray the bottom of a casserole dish with pan, then layer the bottom of the dish with ziti. On top of that layer spread the ricotta cheese. On top of that put another layer of ziti. On top of that layer put the Italian sausage and pasta sauce. On top of that layer with the shredded mozzarella cheese. Cover, bake for 45-60 minutes. Serve with a Caesar salad and garlic bread.

Shrimp Scampi in white wine and butter over rice, or homemade chicken Alfredo from scratch as well.

    Re: with your cooking knowledge

    - spinach salad with balsamic vinaigrette tossed with feta, dried cranberries and walnuts
    - Broiled or grilled steak or pork chops
    - garlic skin-on mashed potatoes
    - steamed asparagus
    - warm crusty bread and butter
    - easy apple dessert with ice cream
    - bottle of pinot noir

I'm a chick and I like to cook. I think that's a large part of the reason my husband married me.

I personally love every type of food-seafood, mexican, chinese, everything.
Seafood can be a tough call if you don't know if the other person likes it or not.

I really like grilling with the woman because it gives us time to sit around and have a drink and talk while grilling. My lady likes to help me cook too and not just have me do all the work so that's a bonus too.

Or allergic for that matter...that would suck to have a nice lady over for dinner and you end your date in the hospital.
