When did we start dressing prisoners like the Cat in the Hat?

Sorry, I can't find the pictures, but I saw the prisoners who killed a Des Moines bicyclist dressed in them on WHO tv yesterday.

I saw that too, they actually looked like candy canes.

You know what their problem was? 'Those things should not be in this house. Make them go. They should not be here when your mother is not. Put them out, put them out,’ said the fish in the pot.

When I toured a prison manufacturing facility in South Carolina, they had some of the more deviant prisoners in hot pink jumpsuits. I'm not sure if they were overly amorous with their fellow prisoners, or staged a Silence of the Lambs style......ummmm......"chucking".

All prisons and jails have a classification system designed to be able to identify the more dangerous inmates. Orange stripes are usually high risk and hot pink jumpsuits are for assaultive inmates. At least thats the way I understand it.

Horizontal stripes make them look fat. They really should wear something that is more slimming.
