    Pet Wash

Anyone know of any Pet Wash places in Des Moines? I was in Jewell, IA the other day and there is a nice car wash with a Pet Wash attached to it right off the interstate in Ellsworth, IA.
The thing was awesome. Your dog smells good for weeks and you can vacuum off their hair and blow dry them. They are chained up so you have 2 hands available also.

    Re: Pet Wash

I know there's one in Ames. KCCI did a story about it a while ago. I'd think if there was one in Des Moines they would have just done a story there instead of going to Ames to do one. Although that story was a while ago, so someone in Des Moines may have put one in since then.

These must be indoor dogs then.

My dogs run through the woods, go swimming in ponds, and whatever else they do. I can't imagine that any bath or pet wash would make them smell good for weeks.

Exactly....Indoor dog for the most part. When ever we stay at my wife's parents house we bring our lab and it runs all over the country side. Ponds, woods etc..When its at home its indoors and in the back yard.
The petwash in Ellsworth is 2 miles from where they live and it is really nice. I wish Ankeny had one.
