Official NFL Draft 2009 - Please keep this for the draft

I want to get opinions when people get drafted by there teams opinions on that pick. What they should do on the next picks, and or anything concerning the draft on this thread. That way people can get all the info on the 2009 draft here and not at 100's of different posts. I do not believe that will happen but I believe that it would be easier to follow. I appreciate everyone in advance to keep all the 2009 draft information in this thread.

Anyone hear if Stafford will be a Lion? If he does not go 1 who will be taking ihis place. It seems from what I have read it all depends on the Lions with the Stafford pick how things will fall.

If Stafford doesn't go 1 then it will be Aaron Curry as they already have a deal done with him.The interesting think will be is if Crabtree is off the board at 8. I expect Jacksonville to trade that pick to someone who wants to draft Sanchez. Chiefs draft Tyson Jackson at 3 maybe?

Not to happy about that, I would love for them to trade the third for other picks if Curry is off the board

Broncos for Sanchez, they would need to get the chiefs 3rd overall.....Because St Louis is wanting Sanchez also. Would they give up there two number one picks to a interconference opponent, I hope so

Re: NFL Draft 2009 - Please keep this for the draft

The Super Bowl Champions, the mighty Pittsburgh Steelers, won't be drafting until the last pick of the 1st round, so it's hard to predict a player. They will probably take the best out of DL, CB, or OL.

I want Sanchez but not enough to package the picks to get him. If he is there at 12 so be it. If not use the two picks to get some defense which is what we really need.

Re: NFL Draft 2009 - Please keep this for the draft

If I were Denver I wouldn't trade up any higher than 8 for Sanchez. If he falls there then I think the 12th pick and a 3rd maybe good enough to get him if they want to go that way. I have a hard time believing that Curry would fall to 5 but if the Chiefs or Lions don't take him and right now Im not thinking they will he will end up at 5. The other wild card is the Raiders and who they take.

I agree that I don't think the Broncos should trade up for Sanchez. Go defense with those two picks then use thier two first rounders next year to get Sam Bradford or one of the other qb's coming out next year. I'm hoping for Tyson Jackson and one of the USC linebackers.

Stafford I thought signed a contract with the Lions already...

Sources: Matthew Stafford, Detroit Lions agree to $41.7M, six-year deal - ESPN

Its been projected by quite a few sites that Seattle will take Mark Sanchez. What does this mean for Seneca??
