I think a lot of people are bitter. I'm not. We really didn't lose a whole lot w/ him leaving as far as players go and now we have much better coordinators. Much better

I cant wait for august/september to come and hopefully many will finally just let it go....crimany!

We got some very talented kids brought in the last couple years and we now have the coach we want. Am a peeved that 5 wins the last 2 years made us the laughing stock of the Big 12? YES! The reset button has been hit. Lets go from here.

Agreed. We have most of our players back and a better coaching system IMO.

Don't count on it. It will be interesting to see what happens to all of those counting on Chizik to fail if he actually puts a nice season together.

Will I smile if he fails... YES.

Do I care if he succeeds? NO!

Unfortunately, we're still getting jammed for the contracts of those coordinators that he resigned a month or so before he bolted. You remember - when he was "firmly entrenched".

I don't necessarily care that he's gone. But that part is what eats at me.

I nice season by our standards is 6-7 wins. A nice season when you are the HC of Auburn is 9+ wins.

Re: The Chiz on Rivals Radio

I was mad... now I see it for what it is... Addition by Subtraction. Having met the previous staff they had no clue what they got into. It takes special people to take this job, you have to have enthusiasm, you have to be able to build athletes... The Chiz never got that... the new staff fully understands what they got into... That's why it will be different, that's why it will be better.

Good luck Auburn, you did us a favor.

I will be disappointed. The guy lacks class and deserves the worst that life has to offer.

Agreed. The guy was the ultimate hypocrit. I am not sure that one word out of his mouth while in Ames had even an ounce of truth to it other then when after games he blamed the coaches for not getting the job done. Those statements were very accurate.
