    Anyone see on espn

They have an article up there that talks about the brackets and choosing at large teams. He takes a shot at ISU a little toward the end of the article.

    http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/news/story?id=4073000

The public, I think, understands this intuitively. The NCAA tournament should be for winners, and there is 25 years' worth of data supporting the notion. If that doesn't work for NC State or Alabama or Iowa State or Providence, no one is holding a gun to their heads to stay in power conferences (and I highly doubt we'll see a sudden exodus).

Yeah of course he had to say something like that. Providence would succeed way more almost in any other conference except the one they're in now.

Where the heck is this coming from with this guy? While there may be some complaints on the football side of things, I don't think ISU has complained at all in basketball.

It wasn't that long ago we made the Tourney.

    Cheap shot....

hmmm, how many conference titles have the others he listed won in the last decade? How about how many most of our conference has won in the last decade save texas and kansas? thought so. GIVE ME A BREAK. We have fallen on hard times, but we have hardly had trouble handling the "power conference" we are in.

lunardi's job is a joke and now he has nothing else to do but write stupid articles such as this one

and yea ISU was in the tourney in 05 and beat Minnesota, and a few years before that we only went 32-5 but yea we can't handle it....hopefully craig stays so he can feel real dumb next febuary when he's projecting Iowa State in the tournament

Yeah, I don't know why he included Iowa State in that last paragraph, since it's been a relative eternity since we were even on the "bubble", but honestly I agree with just about everything he wrote there.

Why not put Nebraska, Colorado, Northwestern, or Penn State in there. Last time I check ISU had a nice ride less than 10 years ago and has been back since. What a *******.
