    VEISHEA weekend

Since I won't be able to make it back this year I want to live vicariously through those of you that will.

How has the week been thus far? How do the bands look overall? Who is fired up?

    Re: VEISHEA weekend

The parade was weak. With the exception of one or two floats, the parade was like parades which can be seen across the state of Iowa during the summer months. Apparently the traditional quality Veisha floats are a thing of the past. Unless changes are made, the parade will no longer be a "must see" event...

I am guessing either the Wall-E one or the Lion King (Best IMO)?

Overall I had a great VEISHEA weekend without a hitch, I will never hesitate on a road trip to Ames for this weekend. I loved having the Spring FB game the same weekend as expected too! It was good to see 7-8K or w/e it was, but there is always more room for you fringe ISU football fans!

Much better than last years' VEISHEA (better weather helped of course), and there is even more room for improvement next year!

    Re: VEISHEA weekend

Nice, thanks for the rundown! I think the Lion King float was my old Fraternity so it's good to hear they're still building a float. Hopefully it continues for the parades sake.
