AMES, Iowa - Jordon Andreassen finished second in the heptathlon Thursday at the Kansas Relays. The freshman tallied 4,552 points in her first heptathlon. The Polk City native started the day off with a fourth place finish in the long jump, clearing 16-5 feet, collecting 559 points. The strong start provided a confidence boost for Andreassen, who sat out the last two weeks with a foot injury.
