Cubs vs Cards for 4 games this weekend

    4-game series starting today.

Thurs, 1:20 pm - Wainwright vs Marshall
Friday, 1:20 pm - Walters (first career big league start, replacing injured Carpenter) vs Zambrano
Saturday, 2:40 pm - Lohse vs Dempster
Sunday, 7:05 pm - Wellemeyer vs Lilly

I'll consider it a good series if the Cards can manage a split, given their recent history at Wrigley.

Carpenter strained his ribs while batting (I am pretty sure he is made our of porcelain, since he seems so fragile) against Arizona on Tuesday and will probably miss at least a month. He had a 0.00 ERA through 10 innings pitched on the season and looked like he was back in Cy Young form. Would have been a nice weapon to have this season.

Saw today coming...Cubs will win in a landslide tomorrow and Cards will prolly win with Lohse on sat. Sunday is the real toss up IMO.
