what big high school in iowa

has the best tradition in both football and basketball. I would say it is either Iowa City High or Bettendorf.

I can't speak for other high schools but I graduated from Bettendorf in '91 and football is very important there.

Bettendorf basketball has won 1 state title in the last 25 years. Football a different story.

Actually, when it comes to Bettendorf, it might be more difficult to try to name a sport that they DON'T have a history in...

All this talk of Bett. makes my memories of the 2003-04 season all the sweeter when the Muskies went there and knocked them off in the playoffs.

Re: what big high school in iowa

by that i mean 4A or higher. Time frame is over last 10 years. Valley and Dowling are football schools but they suck in basketball. I meant which school is good at both football and boys basketball.
