The GRE's are slowly sucking the will out of me...

So I am planning on going to Graduate school next fall and take the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) on Thursday? Any tips? I have one of those "Cracking the GRE" books, but will take all the help I can get. I am just not sure how much more my brain can take...

SOOOOOO glad I did not have to take the GRE to get into the MBA program I am graduating from...

I took the GRE about a year and a half ago. My best advice is to do as many practice tests as you can. That helps you get the timing of the tests down, and will help you know what kinds of questions to expect. Your study book should have some of those, and so does the GRE website.

    Good luck.

This. Also, get plenty of sleep the night before. Given the choice between one more practice test and going to bed the night before - go to bed.

I agree. Being rested does a lot more for you than the one more test will.

Southern Miss baby, you can sit on the bench with the great Larry E! No FSU...they are dirty. Unless of course you plan on being a dirty coach, which I know you will be.(not a gay wink)

Didn't study for them, but I probably should have.

Since you're in business management, our backgrounds are a little different.

If I were to take it again (which I won't since I'm 30 and finally done with school) I would probably study the vocabulary words...my weakest area. So I would suggest glancing over the stuff you're good at and binge and purge the stuff you suck at.

This is probably pretty good advice. I took it when I was 35, and really had to brush up on the math, not so much vocabulary. It just depends on where your weaknesses are.
