    Marty and Miller

Sounds like Marty has totally waffled on the season ticket flap. Keeps saying Hawk fans will buy up the tix just to see the game. I didn't agree with him before, but damn, Marty, stand your ground.

    Re: Marty and Miller

I am starting to think this is just a KXNO thing. Cotlar never takes a stand on anything.

This morning it was hilarious. He had Burt Sugar on there talking about Ali. Coltar said something about Ali refusing to be drafted into the military and then being sent to jail.

Sugar says: "Ali didn't go to jail".
Coltar: "Yeah, Ali didn't go to jail, but he refused to be drafted".

Cotlar rarely talks about sports...I am not sure why anyone even listens to him anymore.

    Re: Marty and Miller

Cotlar has a decent show only because he gets some good interviewees on there. Now the interviews usually aren't that great, because as stated earlier, he can't take a stand on anything. He's too busy making sure nobody ever gets mad at him.

I mean somebody will say something mildly controversial, and Cotlar will stumble all over himself for 10 minutes defending and placating every side, of every side of every side of whatever was said in the first place

As Lewis Black said "the first time I heard him speak, I said f#$@, I don't have enough breadcrumbs to find my way home."

ready, speak think. just teasing. they say exactly what they are thinking at the time.

by the way today, they had al lorenzen as a guest former hawk and they asked him what was the toughest arena to play in. without hesitation, he said hilton coliseum. he said indiana was pretty tough but nothing like the environment at hilton.

    props to al.
