    Pictures from The Masters

Here's a few: Picasa Web Albums - Brad - masters vacation

That course is so amazing. The fairways look fake even when you're standing on them. Everything is so perfect.

Damn, just realized I'm missing the 's'. Could a mod please fix? It sounds like I'm calling myself "The Master"

Thanks for posting. Regarding the fairways, can you believe Sergio was complaining about the fairways having 'mud balls' and just generally saying he doesn't like Augusta. What a cry baby.

LOL. Yeah, that one has a little back story. The guy who's holding the flat stanley is a hawk fan and is doing it for his nephew. While we were taking the picture there just happened to be two ISU grads standing there that wanted a picture of it too. Small world. We also took a picture of it where Forest Gump sat on the bench in Savannah. If you ever get a chance to go to Savannah, you should. It's very cool. Lots of history and the riverwalk is beautiful.

I hadn't heard that and I can't believe anyone could possibly ***** about the condition of Augusta. Those fairways are pristine.
A few interesting facts I learned while there:

    1. The on-course concession buildings (which are quite large) are disassembled after the tournament and rebuilt every year.

    2. The green stakes that hold the ropes are placed with GPS so they are in the same spot every year.

    3. One of the bathrooms on the course cost over $1 million to build.

    4. The undulations of the course, especially the greens, are much more pronounced than what you can see on TV.

    5. Beer and food is very cheap for a golf course. Even the merchandise was reasonable.

Anyway, if you ever get a chance, go. Even the practice rounds are cool and the par 3 tournament was pretty cool too although it's very crowded and hard to see anything.
