I don't think you have to declare.

That list is just one website's opinion of who the prospects to be drafted are. Just because they ommitted Ezell doesn't mean she won't be drafted.

These guys have her as a shooting guard draft prospect:

2009 WNBA Draft Net Prospect Directory

Gene Smith, 1993-2000. 7 years, 6 NCAA's, 1 bowl game. Revenue sports postseason participation 50%. Good.
    Bruce Vandevelde, 2000-20005. 5 years, 4 bowl games, 2 NCAA's, 2 NIT's. Postseason participation 80%. Better.
    Jamie Pollard, 2005-. 4 years. 1 bowl game, 0 NCAA's, 0 NIT's. Postseason participation: 13%. The next big step.

My ignore list: splitidentity, tarheelhawk, superdorf, clones_jer. That is all.

The draft is over. It was Thursday afternoon. Five Big 12 players, no Cyclones.

Wow. Courtney falls all the way to the 7th pick overall. I think a few teams might regret doing that.

You don't have to declare yourself for the WNBA draft. The list at WNBA.com is a list of what the league itself considers the best prospects eligible for the draft. Like it or not, EZ was a good player in college, but the league scouted her just like everyother player, and left her out because they felt she wasn't good enought for the league. As you know, it happens in all sports.

    Re: Heather and WNBA?

The WNBA contracted by 1 team from 14 to 13, and the rosters contracted from 13 to 11. That adds up to 143 roster spaces, down from 182 last season. Making a roster this year will be very difficult.
