    Looking for NCC Information

Can any current members of the National Cyclone Club answer any of these questions I (aka my wife) have?

    1. What are the following:
    • Cardinal Room
    • Stage Door
    • Cy's Clubhouse

Is this something that you use? What's its purpose?
    2. Is priority parking only for season ticketholders?

    3. What is the Cyclone Clothing Discount?

    4. What are some of the other benefits of joining the NCC? Please don't use the whole "supporting student-athletes" thing. It won't work on her, I mean, me.

Please help out a guy with a very reluctant wife. Thanks!

    Clothing discount at T-Galaxy = 20-25%
I believe the Cadinal Room or Stage door is a social hour with food and drinks with the AD and other athletic officials before bball games.
Cy's Clubhouse is ISU's clothing store.

    Re: Looking for NCC Information

Priority parking is only for NCC members and is based on giving level and points within that giving level.

Here is a link to the benefits chart:http://admin.xosn.com/attachments1/2840.pdf

Another benefit is having first opportunity to purchase post season basketball & football tickets ahead of the general public.

    Cardinal Room :
-Small reception room with a few tables open before every MBB/WBB and at 1/2 time. You can get same food/snacks (available for purchase) that are available at the concession stand, without a line, and sit down for a bit. Open to only Cardinal Level members and above

Stage Door-Reception function for Gold level members and above. Not open every game, but is open for key pre-conference and conference games It is open around 9-10 games this year. Held at Scheman. Unless Scheman is booked up that day for other things, usually open 2 hours prior to the game and 1 hour after. A lunch menu of 2-3 choices, with salads, is available for purchase. Favorite refreshments are avaiable for purchase.
    -Cy's Clubhouse
Food tent at Football games for NCC members only. Serve 1-2 meal options, and desserts, with tea, water, pop, hot choclate. Meals run $6-8/person. Nice place to go if not tailgating but want somewhere to go prior to the game and to eat.

I have used them all and they are a nice benefit.

    2. Is priority parking only for season ticketholders?
Yes, but you may still request one (like for WBB) even if you do not have tickets. If they are available, they will issue one. As you can guess, they pretty much are all taken for MBB and FB.

    3. What is the Cyclone Clothing Discount?
I think it was listed in another post.

    4. What are some of the other benefits of joining the NCC? Please don't use the whole "supporting student-athletes" thing. It won't work on her, I mean, me.
-Even if at a lower donation level, tickets are still ahead of general public and single game. As mentioned, options post season or away game tickets as well.

    Re: Looking for NCC Information

Are you sure about #4. I thought in the last year or so it was changed that you HAD to be a season ticket holder. Maybe I'm mistaken and they give priority to season ticket holders regardless of level, over non-season ticket holder.

As much as I don't like taking perks away - to me, that only seems right. Get your butt in the stadium (or at least pay like you are)

I'd guess such a situation only applies to a very select few. Who donates enough to get parking but doesn't get season tickets? I guess there are those who live far enough away and only make a game or two.

Cardinal room - do you have to be season ticket holder to get in there? Or is it enough to just be Cardinal?

    Re: Looking for NCC Information

Daddy Mac I am not 100% sure, but I believe the Cardinal Room would be just donation.

You are correct that it is ticket holders first, then NCC for passes. As I said it would not work for MBB of FB, but might for womens bb.

    Re: Looking for NCC Information

Other's could answer this better, but I think for post-season NCAA tournament men's basketball tickets, they all get snatched up real fast by the people at the top because they are always in limited supply.

    Re: Looking for NCC Information

I thought the Cardinal Room was a banquet room in the Memorial Union.......Wasn't the Stage Door the name of the bar downstairs in the Union?
